Jeff Jorgensen - San Francisco Bay Area Jeff grew up in the bay area beginning sailing at age 8 continuing through his teen years racing before beginning college. Receiving a degree in Center for Information and Communication with the emphasis in Photography from California State University Chico. Jeff was involved in the photography business for 26 years managing stores, co-owning stores and as a Technical and Senior Account Executive with Minolta Corp. until their sale of the photographic division to Sony. At this time Jeff decided to renew his interest in boating and to marry his love for "sails" and "sales" becoming a broker at Bay Yacht Agency in Annapolis Maryland. With an interest and background in all things technical, Jeff often traveled to France visiting the Jeanneau factories and for comparison many other manufacturers of monohulls and catamarans. During his first eight years back in the boating industry, Jeff was the top seller for Jeanneau America many of those years. Following this, for the next two years, Jeff was the commissioning agent for his company putting together and delivering 38 Jeanneau Sailboats and 8 catamarans. While living in Annapolis Jeff personally picked up and delivered 140+ boats from the Port of Baltimore back to Annapolis. A position opened at Jeanneau America where for the next 9 years Jeff was the Commercial Product Specialist responsible for all boat shows throughout North America, technical training and support for the Jeanneau dealer network, working with the factories both in France and the U.S. on the introduction and production of new models. At this same time, Jeff proved a resource for "all things technical" to Jeanneau owners throughout the sailing world. Born and raised sailing in California Jeff is familiar with the needs for this area. Jeff maintains a complete library of Jeanneau technical support information for models since 2000 should you have questions you may not get answers to elsewhere. Living on the East Coast Jeff is familiar with those waters and unique needs as well having sailed and delivered boats from New England through the Florida Keys and throughout the Caribbean and French West Indies. Jeff's "soup to nuts" sailing, manufacturing, technical, commissioning, delivery, provisioning background make him your best choice to help select your dream boat. I am a marine loan advisor who does business throughout the USA and internationally. I’ve worked with several great yacht brokers over the years but too often with some who are not truly up to the task. I can say with confidence that David Greco is decidedly in the category of great brokers. Trustworthy, responsive, resourceful, diligent, persistent, honest, professional. A first-class individual. If you are buying or selling a power or sailing yacht in the USA or Europe you should definitely consider having David Greco on your team.
- Jerry Marzec, Deerfield Beach , Florida
I purchased my first yacht from David Greco primarily because he proved himself to be a trustworthy person. Yachting is a new experience for me and my family. David made it a true pleasure. He helped me select the best yacht at a great price and handled all the details including to recruit a professional captain and obtain one of the best slips in a prestigious harbor. I highly recommend hiring David Greco as your yacht broker.

When my family and I decided to go cruising we were looking for a performance-oriented yacht that could eat up the miles yet handle any sea conditions – and that we could comfortably afford. David Greco had one listed that checked all the boxes. We were hesitant to have the same broker represent both the seller and us as buyers but David did so with honesty and integrity. We never once felt like he was taking one side over the other just to close the sale. And the technicians, marine title agent and other persons he introduced to us were cut from the same cloth. I recommend David Greco without hesitation or caveat.

David Greco may well be the most persistent yacht broker in the industry. We raced and cruised our yacht extensively since purchasing it new in 1991. So when it came time to sell, we were reluctant at first. In fact, soon after we listed it with David Greco he brought us a nearly full-price offer but we decided to keep racing. A couple years later, we asked David to put the boat back on the market and he once again obtained an offer from another buyer only to have the deal fall out of escrow due to unexpected problems discovered at survey. After repairs, he brought an offer from yet another buyer and, wouldn’t you know it, new problems at survey! But this time he somehow managed to hold the deal together. List your yacht with David Greco. He doesn’t give up!

David Greco is a real pro. An experienced yachtsman, knowledgeable broker and a terrific negotiator. He helped me clarify and prioritize what I was looking for in a yacht and then carefully explained the buying process. I felt in good hands as we collaborated closely every step of the way. There was no question he could not answer or was unable to quickly find someone who could. When I first met David he had just closed a million dollar plus transaction. He gave me the same VIP service on a purchase worth a small fraction of that price! This is the mark of a true professional and someone with whom it is a pleasure to do business. I can’t imagine working with anyone else. Meet him and you’ll see why.
