The master stateroom is located aft and has a big double berth to port and large settee to starboard. The stateroom has six opening ports lights that provides great ventilation. Under the port berth there are six drawers and two lockers. In the port forward portion of the aft stateroom is a large head. The head has a manual toilet with a 20 gallon holding tank, sink and shower. There are very large storage lockers behind and below the sink.
Just forward of the aft stateroom is a walk through hallway. To starboard is a very large standing storage closet. To the port side are the electrical panels, please note that the whole boat has been rewired. Also, at the electrical panel is a Xantrex Inverter/Charger monitor. Adjacent to the panels is the selector switch for the generator and shore power.
Just forward and to port is the entrance to a walk-in full standing engine room with work bench and vise. The engine quartered in the room is a rebuilt Perkins 4.234 M, 85 horsepower four cylinder diesel with under 300 hours. Just aft of the main is an 5.0 Onan generator. Under the work bench is a six gallon Seaward water heater.
The main Salon as nine large replaced windows. To the starboard is the galley with engine driven/AC Glacier Bay cold plate refrigerator/freezer, Seaward two burner propane stove/ oven and deep dual stainless steel sinks. The galley features an abundance of storage for galley essentials, to the port is the raised L shaped dinning settee/double berth with large amounts of storage beneath and above the settee, KVH Satellite TV receiver. Just forward of the salon table is the navigation table.
Continuing forward is the guest stateroom V berth. Under the berth is a very large storage area. To starboard is a full standing head with manual toilet, sink and vanity. There are very large storage lockers behind, above and below the sink. To port is a full standing closet and plenty of storage. At the bow is a very large chain locker with plenty of room for sails and gear.

The Cal Cruising 2-46s were designed by Wm. Lapworth and offer excellent sailing performance.
