Top-end rebuild on both engines (Harbor Marine 2012) - installed new head gaskets, replaced head bolts with studs from Advanced Racing Products, cleaned heads, check for true and torqued to specs of 135 ft-lbs.
2006 work done - replaced existing House battery bank with 3 Rolls-Royce lead/acid 375 amp-hour 8D batteries - total of 1,125 amp-hours capacity. Replaced Start battery with 1 Rolls-Royce 8D 375 amp-hour battery. Replaced all existing DC wiring connecting batteries/alternators/starters/etc. with new 4/0 cables. Also installed new remote Blue Sea solenoids for battery control from the helm. Installed new Balmar MC-612 digital regulators along with Balmar Centerfielder. Installed new turbocharger blankets, fabricated by Advanced Thermal Products of Santa Ana, CA.
2002 work done - injectors serviced, new exhaust elbows, raw water pumps rebuilt, heat exchangers reconditioned, new raw water intake hoses and coolant circulation system hoses/clamps. New coolant water pumps installed, new head gaskets and head bolts installed, valves ground and valve guides replaced. ESI fuel polishing system installed.
15 KW Onan Generator - enclosed in aft section of engine room. Work done on this and related systems includes:
1999/2000 - installed new Heart Freedom 25 (2500 watt inverter) plus new Interphase Twinscope. Installed new Salzer Rotary switch in panel for Shore/Generator/Inverter switching. Installed Balmar large-frame alternator on starboard engine. Electrical work done by Seanet Electronics with mechanical and boatyard work done by Driscoll in San Diego. This boat has double 50-amp shore power inputs (100 amps total) on both starboard and port sides.
Installed new stainless steel generator exhaust elbow, fabricated by National Marine Exhaust in Marysville, WA (2012 by Harbor Marine)
Naiad Stabilizers - 1999/2000 work included removing these for full inspection/service, including replacing all seals. Done in San Diego by Driscoll.
- Driveshafts and related below-waterline systems
Electroguard Control unit (corrosion control) replaced, new shaft wipers installed on both port and starboard shafts (San Diego 1999). Includes galvanic isolator.
Pulled and reconditioned both shafts, installed dripless shaft seals, replaced all cutlass bearings, R&R props, aligned shafts with new DriveSavers (2011 by Harbor Marine in Everett, WA)
