A hallmark of Fleming is the rich teak interior, including teak and holly sole. "BONES" features optional exterior teak deck cladding and additional teak paneling in the master cabin. Note the special request high-end headboards, custom mattresses and floor coverings, all new in 2020..
The vessel is air conditioned but also features a hydronic furnace system with 7-zone temperature control in salon, pilothouse, flybridge and each cabin. The system is quiet, and provides the kind of heat that warms people and surfaces, rather than just the air around them.
All lighting is LED, including the navigation lights, interior lights, courtesy and accent lights, even the DC engine room lights. Where appropriate, the lights are on electronic dimmer switches.
Each area of the vessel has speakers - carefully selected for the size and shape of the space. The source of music can be controlled by the person enjoying that space. A system that engages, welcomes, invites guests to simply add their personal device to the mix, and share music.
The soft furnishings were carefully upgraded by current owner to create separate, positive spaces and ensure a sense of style throughout the vessel - from the striped Sunbrella on the flybridge to the pillows and carpets through the cabins, each space has its own bright and engaging style.
Throughout there are other conveniences such as 3-Zone sound system (cockpit, salon, flybridge): TV, VHF radio and Phantom screens on the salon door.

Electrical
The Fleming Electrical system is known to be a robust design, remarkably friendly to use. 110VAC and AC220V and 24VDC panels, with circuit protection, are located in the pilothouse. Part of the AC panel is devoted to light loads which can be powered by the inverter. AC power is provided by shore connection, and 17.5KW Cummins Onan generator (590 hours), and by the 3500W Outback inverter (a separate 3500W Inverter was installed dedicated to two elements of the HOB stovetop).
24VDC power is provided by AGM batteries as follows: a house bank comprised of 6 AGM batteries providing 600 amps @ 24VDC; engine start bank of 2 x 8D batteries (24VDC) for each engine. The port start bank powers the port engine, the port genset, and the stern thruster. The starboard start bank powers the starboard engine, the starboard genset and the bow thruster.
Note that the AC system includes isolation transformers with an ASEA AC Auto Controller which automatically selects which AC power source the vessel is to use. There is one AC inlet at the bow, and one at the stern. One can plug in Fleming supplied custom shore power cables in a variety of configurations into dock outlets, depending on what service is available. The transformers will automatically step the power up to 220VAC, as required by the vessel. An example might be having two 30amp outlets on the dock. By plugging in two 30 amp shore cords, the converter will convert the power to that required by the vessel. This system is safe and reliable, and seamless in operation and ease of use.
The battery banks are charged through a battery Export that charges all banks evenly as the demand requires. The charge sources are: heavy duty alternators on the engines of 240amp 24V each when one or both engines are running, the charge side of the Outback inverter, when shore power or genset power is available. There is a back up 60 amp charger wired directly to the batteries in case on an issue with the inverter charger. There is a 24V alternator on each genset.
Other Fleming electrical attributes:
- Buell air horns
- Meters at the panels to monitor voltage and amperage
- Remote inverter panel at Pilothouse
- AC and DC (LED) lights in the engine room
- GFCI outlets in heads, galley and flybridge
