YACHT DESCRIPTION

This Cape Dory 31 was a dealer stock boat for its first year, then sold to the current owner who has had and enjoyed her since (so really a one-owner boat). She has been extremely well-maintained. All of her cushions and mattresses have been recovered and the interior is kept almost brand new. The Cape Dory 31 is regarded as a very capable yet easily sailed boat. Additions such as the autopilot, forced air heater, propane stove, and ample water supply make her a great cruiser.

The owner upgraded the original alcohol stove to a gimbaled Force-10 propane stove with an oven.

The galley is completed with ample storage, a double stainless sink and good countertop room for food preparation.

Additional Information

The owner has installed a Wallas Marine Forced-Air kerosene heater with vents in the galley/salon, and head for comfort away from the dock. This heater will make the boat warm and toasty inside within minutes!

Closed-cell foam cockpit cushions cover all seating while sailing or at the dock.
